Hi I’m Koen, Founder of Convolve. I’m looking for a Data Engineer to join my team.

From building powerful data platforms and analysing large time series to processing huge amounts of data. We build a multitude of next-generation industrial and IoT data platforms using innovative technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka en Databricks.

A day in the life

A typical day in the life of a Data Engineer at Convolve is hard to pinpoint. But generally speaking, this is what you can expect.


First things first. You’ll start your day with a short stand-up, most times the client will join as well.

Afterwards, you’ll dive into your outstanding to do’s. On the menu? A whole lot of coding, deep work and a vast amount of data.

Everyday, you’ll find pragmatic solutions to pressing issues, research new technologies and look for ways to implement them.

Like no other, you create the right balance between the best and the most efficient solution.

We tend to keep things short and efficient around here. And our interview process is no exception. However, we won’t rush you into making any decisions. It’s a two-way street, so if you have any questions, concerns or ideas, ask away!
